   DI PENGHUJUNG usia 70an tahun, semangatnya menekuni fotografi tetap besar. Terlahir sebagai anak keempat dari enam bersaudara, Sri Suharti mulai memotret sejak duduk di bangku sekolah menengah pertama. Bersenjata kamera Rolleicord milik temannya, Sri Suharti [kelahiran 10 Agustus 1930] mulai menekuni dunia fotografi. Ia menjadikan teman-teman sekolahnya sebagai model ndeso [gaya desa] -meminjam istilah Sri Suharti sendiri. Padahal, pada waktu itu belum banyak orang yang memiliki kamera film berformat 120 milimeter. Kegemaranannya di jagat gambar film semakin kuat ketika ayahnya menghadiahi kamera saat Sri duduk di bangku sekolah menengah pertama khusus putri di Pasar Legi, Solo.
